Pedestrian Safety

Despite government efforts, these deadly statistics continue to grow causing untimely and preventable deaths. The root cause is due to the lack of pedestrian visibility at crosswalks, especially in low infrastructure areas and unmarked crossings.

What We Do

We are developing modular, ADA-compliant crosswalks that improve pedestrian safety in the Seattle Metropolitan Area. They'll be deployed to sense pedestrians preparing to cross the street and use solar power to light up their path as they walk, giving drivers and cyclists a view of any people who may choose to cross the road.

We're making our city safer to walk through, one sensor and solar panel at a time.
